What are some automotive quotes that you view as Words to Live By? I'm not just referring to quotes you like or think are catchy or funny, but words that are actually meaningful to you?

For me personally, one rainy day, I was reading a beat up, dog-eared old copy of The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein and I immediately fell in love with the words "That which you manifest is before you" , originally cited as having been said by French racing driver Gabriel Flouret. It just rang so very true for me and completely stopped me in my tracks.

It's such a succinct, graceful way of saying that the world you experience is the world you make for yourself; that mindset truly is everything and, just like driving, instead of obsessing over where you're afraid of winding up, if you maintain your focus on where you want to go, that is exactly where you you end up.

What about you guys? What automotive quotes are meaningful to you- quotes that you see as mantras for life as a whole?
